Venom

The ultimate silencer for you who wants the best of the best. Venom is constructed from the latest technology in silencers and breaks with the traditional silencer types. The muffler is made of high strength aluminum with one core in one piece. And this particular structure allows the projectile to get closer to the piercing in the silencer, so that the powder gas is run symmetrically and considerably more efficiently than in other silencers. Venom is available both as a telescopic and front mounted and in both versions with Duo-Brake, which really comes into its own. With the Venom muffler you get maximum sound reduction, minimal recoil and super precision.

Additional Information

When you notice the Venom muffler, it is smooth and rounded, but you must not be mistaken for the gentle exterior. The surface has an extremely strong and scratch-resistant surface, which has been reprocessed through a special hair decking. Schultz & Larsen Venom is produced in pure high-strength aluminum. This has been done by taking into consideration the weight, but at the same time, such a strong aluminum material has been used that there is no compromise on functionality and durability. With its 485 g, Venom is one of the lightest silencers on the market. The low weight of the silencer and minimalist and stylish exterior make your rifle retain its aesthetic expression. Venom is the latest silencer from Schultz & Larsen and an alternative to the popular “Dome” series.

The construction of the damper is unique in its interior and it is designed with the purpose of running gas and heat as quickly as possible without compromising on weight and functionality. The Venom muffler is designed with similar rear chamber as the popular Dome series. The front section consists of a mono-core, an outer tube and a lid. The mono-core part is made up of a conical inner core with rectangular gas drainage channels and 5 discs which encapsulate the gas. This is carefully designed to meet the desire to release the powder gas more slowly and thereby reduce the orifice. The outer tube encloses the mono-core portion. It is provided with threads at both ends and has, in the front end, a conical surface which seals against the lid by clamping.

Venom excels, just like the Dome series with its large volume in the back chamber. This reduces the pressure so that the powder gas can escape more slowly from the silencer, and thus give a significantly better sound attenuation. The Venom has Duo-Brake, which reduces wear and tear on the silencer and gives the thread double support to prevent the damper from being crooked between threaded flange and pipe flange. In addition, Duo-Brake causes the silencer to be further clamped by the gun gas at the firing of the shot. The surface of the muffler is black hard-anodized to protect the surface of the muffler against corrosion.

Assembly and Maintenance

Venom is available with a variety of thread sizes, depending on the thread of the rifle. It fits all rifles that have a diameter up to Ø22.5 mm.

The silencer is easily mounted without the use of tools. It is screwed onto the pipe until it meets its flange. Only then is the muffler straightened and it will sit straight and centered. The above is under the assumption that the thread of the rifle pipe is correctly rotated by a gunsmith.

The silencer requires a minimum of maintenance. After use, remove the muffler to dry it for any. condensation and rainwater. After approx. 300 shots are used a brass or copper brush in oversize to release any. potting residues around the inner hole, after which vacuuming from both ends.

The Venom muffler is controlled and specimen-mounted by specially trained professionals for checking the rightness.

WARNING! Be aware that the muffler can reach extremely high degrees of heat, so you should not touch it after prolonged firing series.
